2009-10 All-State Band Members Selected
Three members of the Mustang Band recently traveled to Abilene to compete at the Area auditions for advancement to All State in February. Their advancement to this audition is the next and final audition to be accepted into one of the Texas Music Educators Association All State organizations. The three students were Soo Kim, flute (10), Jack Pena, bassoon (11), and Katie Reedy, piccolo (12).
I am proud to announce that all three of them have officially made the All State Band! This is the culmination of many hours of hard work and commitment to music since August. They represented the Mustang Band family very well at this audition.
Please make sure you take an opportunity to congratulate them when you can. Making one of the All State organizations is of the highest individual music honors you can receive at the high school level. We are very proud of all three of these students!
